This traditional German sweet bread is studded with rum soaked citrus peel, raisins, toasted almonds, warm spices, and baked around a rope of almond marzipan.  After baking, the stollen is dipped in melted  butter and doused in sugar to create a beautiful crunchy shell around a moist bread.
